During the premiere of "Agents of SHIELD", Marvel released a new trailer for "Thor: The Dark World" which refers to events that took place in The Avengers. Check out the TV spot below. Argument: Thor The Dark World takes place after the events of "Thor" and "Avengers" while Thor struggles to restore order in the cosmos and an ancient race appears headed for the vengeful Malekith, who returns to return to plunge the entire world into darkness. Faced with an enemy that even Odin and can dominate Asgard, Thor must embark on their most dangerous journey and staff to date, one that will meet with Jane Foster and force him to sacrifice everything to save us all. The new film is directed by Alan Taylor and is set to hit theaters on November 8.
